bambino—Italian for child—was launched in London in May 2007. The name was chosen not only as a reference to children’s clothing, but also because its first four letters spell the beginning of ‘bamboo,’ an outstanding high performance and eco-friendly grass that has only recently been harvested for use as a fiber.
bambino was born from the desire to use the incredible properties of bamboo to deliver an unparalleled range of baby and toddler wear. Each piece has been carefully crafted with close attention to detail to provide the ultimate in comfort, quality and design. With a typical bamboo content of at least 70% (the rest being organic cotton and maybe a tiny bit of spandex), each piece will make your bambino feel healthier and happier than the normal alternative, regular cotton.
